The Pagans Motorcycle Club is a violent OMG founded in the State of Maryland.
Pagan members are active in the production and distribution of weapons and
narcotics, such as cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine and phencyclidine (PCP).
The OMG is active in 11 states with 44 chapters, with strong ties to organized
crime in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In Maryland and Virginia, the Pagans are
known to have several organizations that support the gang.
In addition to the production and distribution of narcotics and weapons, Pagan
members are well known for committing acts of extortion and other criminal
activities, including arson, bombings, assault and murder. |

Identification |
Similar to other OMGs, Pagan members identify themselves through patchwork and
tattoos. Fully patched Pagans are known to wear a Pagans top rocker and a Zeutar
(God of Fire) patch. The Pagans top rocker patch often has red or blue lettering
on a white background bordered by red.
Other identifiers include a black number: “13” for the Mother Club status; “4”
signifying the motto live and die; “5” representing the German SS motto; “7” for
“in memory of”; “9” is the member’s chapter affiliation. Some members are also
known to wear Nazi and white supremacist patches on the front of cuts and
jackets.

Membership |

Pagan members must be Caucasian, at least 21 years of age and own American-made motorcycles. The Pagans ruling council, consisting of the gang’s Mother Club, are ultimately responsible for establishing the rules and conduct of gang activity. The national sergeant-at-arms’ is responsible for hand-picking 13 chapter members to serve as the “enforcers” or “regulators.” This body uses violence and intimidation to prevent any and all opposition to the Mother Club.
